Macho Tollywood actor Rana Daggubati, who has recently surprised one and all with his beasty look for ‘Baahubali 2’, has reportedly grabbed a rare honor.
Rana himself revealed that he has lent his voice for legendary Hollywood actor Tom Hanks’s character in the Telugu version of the actor’s latest film ‘Inferno’. He plays eponymous character of Robert Langdon in the film. Even though Rana had been busy shooting for Baahubali 2, he reportedly dubbed for Tom Hanks’s character on 3 successive nights, after finishing ‘Baahubali 2’ shoot at Ramoji Film City.
Speaking about his association with Inferno, Rana says, “Tom Hanks is a legendary actor and to be a part of his legacy in this way made for an exciting partnership of sorts. For me personally, I will be able to look back and feel proud of having a memorable character like Robert Langdon to my credit.”
Inferno is gearing up for release in India on October 14. Interestingly, the film is releasing two weeks ahead of its release in the US. Alongside the English version, the thriller is also getting a big release in India in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions. Rana’s voice will be heard for the lead actor in the Telugu version of the film.
